TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Conditions of sale 

  1. Our standard terms and conditions are set out here and payment of the deposit amount will be deemed acceptance of sale and cannot be cancelled. 

  2. This quotation is valid for 14 days only unless otherwise stated.

  3. All blinds are made ‘square’ and no responsibility can be taken for ‘out of square windows’ 

  4. Clients are responsible for the removal of all existing window treatments. If not removed a fee of $10 per item will be charged by the fitter. 

  5. Exact match cannot be guaranteed as colours, weaves, paints, stains and textures may vary slightly from samples. 

  6. Every effort is made to complete the contract in the estimated time; however no responsibility can be taken for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. 

  7. 50% deposit to be paid before work can commence. Payment of the balance, after ownership is transferred, is to be paid prior to delivery. 

  8. All orders held longer than a period of six (6) months without any communication, deposit is non-refundable and goods are returned to stock. 

  9. Impact Blinds & Curtains offers a total 24 month warranty, conditions apply (see below for details) 

  10. In the event of this account being placed in a debt collection agency for formal demand, all collection fees and disbursements shall be a debt due and owing by the customer. 

  11. No refunds will be given.

  12. Any errors or omissions in quantities and/or measurements made by Impact Blinds & Curtains are accepted, and Impact Blinds & Curtains reserve the right to make any variations to the quotation, the order and the price arising out of any such errors or omissions.

  13. Supply of goods is subject to product availability. From time to time these approximate delivery times may be greater than stated due to supply and/or demand. Impact Blinds & Curtains can not be held responsible for increases in delivery times due to external suppliers not providing goods on time or if materials are out of stock. 

  14.  Impact Blinds & Curtains continues to update components and materials for the manufacture of window coverings and only current model tracks will be used 

  15. Installation of window coverings at a height of over 3 meters are subject to special warranty conditions and charges, will be incurred for scaffolding, high ladders and safety. 


24 MONTH WARRANTY 

The warranty covers all products for labour, parts and workmanship for 24 months from the date of purchase. Please take special note of the conditions of this warranty. 

  1. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear including fading on fabrics and other materials.

  2. It does not cover variations in wood grain/wood stain variations or slight warping that may occur in timber etc. 

  3. It does not cover slight fabric colour shades and texture variations that may occur from batch to batch. Therefore exact colour match may not be possible. 

  4. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse or incorrect installation by the customer. 

  5. Under this warranty Impact Blinds & Curtains may need to replace components and materials with updated parts and materials. 

  6. All warranty repairs must be taken to the Impact Blinds & Curtains outlet. Call out fees and delivery will be payable if the repairs are requested on site after the first (12) months. However the company reserves the right to remove product/s from the clients’ home for the purpose of ratification. 

  7. If it is deemed necessary by the company that replacement blinds are required, the existing blinds must be returned to the factory prior to replacement blinds being manufactured. 

  8. This warranty is not valid unless proof of purchase is available. 

  9. This warranty is only valid when the blinds and curtains have been fully paid for. 

  10. All warranties are void if products are misused. 

  11. The company reserves the right to have the final say on warranty claims.
